Zach Bohannon writes enthralling dark fiction, including post-apocalyptic science fiction, horror, dark fantasy, and thrillers. He is the author of two bestselling zombie series, Empty Bodies and Dead South, as well as the bestselling post-apocalyptic horror series, Final Awakening.
In addition to writing fiction, Zach is the co-creator of the Three Story Method, as well as the co-founder and co-host of the now defunct Career Author Podcast.
Along with J. Thorn, he hosted several unique writing retreats and events all over the United States, including Authors on a Train, The Career Author Summit, and one-off world building weekends that included Rock Apocalypse in Cleveland at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Sci-Fi Seattle, Witches of Salem, Vampires of New Orleans, and Night of the Writing Dead in Pittsburgh.
Among writing and being an avid reader, he loves to watch and play hockey, and to listen to heavy metal. He’s also a huge video game nerd and borderline addict. He spent his 20s playing drums in metal bands, and he had a beard way before it was cool. He lives in Tennessee, where he’s resided since 2007.
